This novel is the first part of the Condor Trilogy. Set at the end of the Song Dynasty (12th century AD) when China was under the threat of the Jin Empire and Mongolia. The story of the Legend of the Rajawali Warrior is centered on the adventure story of a young man named Kwee Ceng, someone who is a bit slow in thinking but has a very good personality and behavior. Kwee Ceng grew up in Mongolia but is of Han descent. He became a staunch supporter of the Song emperor, and was determined to prevent the invasion of Jin and Mongolia. - The Return of the Condor Heroes (Sin Tiaw Hiap Lu).
